Kiev 88 - downtime studio shots
Foggy Day - Despite having a million things to do, I had to go out to the Bay City State Park and shoot in the fog. By the time we got there, though, the fog had faded a bit and there are only a couple photos where you can tell. It was still a great time and I’m very happy with how I chose to spend my Sunday.
Jinx - While housesitting a couple weeks ago we found this cat. He had a bad limp, he was wet, and his tail was messed up. Now he’s a happy, healthy, well behaved, and photogenic lil guy.
Photos from Saginaw’s Most Stylish 2017. The event was held at the Horizon’s Conference Center in Saginaw, Michigan. Proceeds went to benefit local literacy and education programs.
The environment was poorly lit with stage lights creating hot spots on contestants and, mainly, the white backdrop (which is why the above are black and white). Most photos were shot without a flash, I don’t have a speedlight for my Nikon. Despite some problems with crowd control, a very fun shoot.
